This status shows that this vehicle is a car that you want to have in your fleet but do not want to rent it out to a customer. You can use this status for vehicles that your team can use for special deliveries or internal usage.
This status shows that the vehicle not yet in your parking lot but will be arriving soon or you have plans to have this vehicle. You can use the Available Date field so that you can set when you think this vehicle will arrive at your parking lot. This will allow customers to be able to reserve the vehicle after or on the date that you have set.
Once you are at Step 7 of the reservation process, selected the vehicle that you will be giving to the customer from the list and click on the green “Confirm Reservation” button. You cannot select this status manually from the batch modification section.
When a customer returns the car to your drop off location and you are at Step 9 of the reservation process. By closing the contract the status of the vehicle will automatically be “dirty”. You can change the status back to available from the batch modification section or from the specific vehicle page. This status is more of a reminder to clean the car before it is assigned to the next customer. By default, there is an overturn timing (which is set to 0 by default), if you have configured the setting, that is meant to clean the vehicle and get it ready for the next customer. If you do not want to keep track of which vehicle is dirty, do not worry. It will not affect the availability of the vehicle.
When you create a repair order from the system and the status of the repair order is currently “In Progress”, this will change the status of the vehicle to Out of Service. Once the repair order is completed, the status of the vehicle is automatically set to Available.
